After buying a used boat, a dispute often arises only months later, when a defect comes to light. 60 model ranges are recorded under Cutter, among them Profisher models as Cuddy, Center Console and Walkaround from the years of construction 1996 to 2012. We offer legal expenses cover for water sports alongside the boat insurance.
No type of boat is recorded for the brand as a whole, and at this point we add nothing that cannot be substantiated. This has no consequences for the contract, because it is the individual boat that is insured. Type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power or sail area and cruising range determine the premium.
For the documented Profisher ranges, production ended in 2012, so today they come second-hand. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners and agree an agreed value that is indemnified with no deduction for depreciation. We cancel an existing contract for you free of charge.

Does the legal expenses cover also help in a dispute with a shipyard?
Legal expenses cover for water sports can be taken out together with the boat insurance. It is tailored to disputes following the purchase of a used boat and to disputes with a shipyard.
How quickly does cover take effect after buying a Profisher?
As soon as the contract is concluded. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online; above that we examine the individual case. We cancel a running previous contract free of charge.
