We hold no model ranges for Dongemond. Neither production periods nor types of boat are recorded in our documents, and we add nothing here that cannot be substantiated. For the insurance this is no obstacle, because what counts is the data of your boat.

The premium is based on the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power or sail area and cruising range. The brand does not enter into this calculation. Small series and self-builds can be insured as well, and we insure irrespective of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners.

Existing policies can be brought along: with the switching service NAMMERT cancels the previous policy free of charge. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis, supplemented by limited hull cover and full hull cover with an agreed value and indemnity with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old").

Then we work with the details of your boat. Type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power or sail area and cruising range are enough for a quotation, model lists are not needed for that.

How does switching from an existing policy work?

NAMMERT cancels the previous policy free of charge. You give us the details of the existing policy, and we take care of the correspondence with the former insurer.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).

Registration

Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.

Inland, coastal and abroad; plan fairways, bridge clearances, draught and tides.

Equipment

Lifesaving gear, fire extinguisher, anchor, signalling equipment and correct navigation lights.

Cruising range

The agreed cruising range is stated in the policy and can be extended at any time.
