Worth knowing
Dsb; cover, cost and conditions
We do not have any model ranges on record for this brand. Nothing can therefore be said about types of boat, years of construction or a building programme. For the insurance this is of no importance, because the premium is based on the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the engine output or sail area and the cruising range, never on the brand.
Small series and home-built boats are insurable as well, as are boats regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis, in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels. Limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike and theft of the entire boat.
Full hull cover works with an agreed value and pays with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff without any age limit. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online; above that an individual assessment follows. We cancel an existing previous policy free of charge.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
Why are no model ranges listed here?
We do not have any model ranges on record for this brand. That says nothing about insurability, because quotations are based on the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the propulsion and the cruising range.
Can a boat without a known model range be insured?
Yes. Small series and home-built boats are insurable too. What matters are the details of the boat itself, such as value, year of construction and cruising range, not membership of a building programme.
The cover that fits
For the whole class of boat
What matters for your boat depends less on the brand than on engine output, how a claim is settled and the waters you sail.
