A limit of indemnity of ten to fifty million euros is available under the third-party liability cover, graded across the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium tariff levels. It is the basis of every policy, including for the 49 documented model ranges of this brand, which are listed as motor boats.

The models listed, such as the 156 SC, the 166 LE or the various 170 variants, date from the build years 2004 to 2015. Production therefore lies in the past, and every one of these boats changes hands on the used market. The agreed value holds the value bindingly, and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).

For the brand itself we have neither the country nor a defined type of boat on record. That is irrelevant for the insurance: the premium is based on the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the engine output and the cruising range, never on the brand. Between 10 and 50 million euros depending on the tariff level. Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium differ in the limit of indemnity and in the scope of the hull cover, for example in waiving the deduction for depreciation (new for old) without an age limit.

Does it matter that nothing is on record about the origin of the brand?

No. Where the boat was bought, previous owners and the year of construction make no difference to acceptance. What matters is the type of boat, the insured value, the engine output and the chosen cruising range.
