Häfele; cover, cost and conditions
Sailing boats such as the Fan, Finesse, Calypso or Hobbit are moved over land before they go into the water. The boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium, and cover also applies during craning, launching and on the transport route. The routes between the storage space, the slipway and the water are therefore covered.
The documented programme comprises around 20 model ranges, among them several Jolly variants, with years of construction from 1969 to 2005. Such a long production period brings very different vintages with it. What counts for the premium is the type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range, never the brand.
In winter storage limited hull cover applies in addition, which alongside fire, storm and lightning strike also covers theft of the entire boat. Full hull cover works with an agreed value and pays with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). Club races are included from the Basis-Plus tariff upwards.

Frequent questions
Does including the trailer cost extra?
No, the boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium. Craning, launching, the transport route and the time in winter storage are likewise included.
What effect do years of construction between 1969 and 2005 have?
The year of construction is one of the premium factors, but it excludes nothing. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, in the Premium tariff with no age limit in full hull cover.

Registration

On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
