We have no model ranges on record for this brand. We say so openly instead of adding details we cannot substantiate. For insuring a boat this is no obstacle, because the contract is based on the data of the boat, not on that of the manufacturer.

What is needed is the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power or sail area and the cruising range. The premium results from this. The brand never enters into the calculation, and small series and home-built boats are insurable too. An unclear origin does not rule out a contract.

Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis, supplemented by limited hull cover or full hull cover with an agreed value and with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"). Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the contract can be taken out online; above that an individual assessment follows.

Which documents help when taking out cover?

Details of length, year of construction, propulsion and value are useful, as is a list of the equipment. This allows the agreed value for full hull cover to be set cleanly.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
