38 model ranges are recorded, among them the FAST, FRB and HD lines, built from 2003 to the present day. These are inflatable boats with engines, each of which has an outboard. At NAMMERT theft of parts including the outboard is part of full hull cover.
Theft of the entire boat is already covered under limited hull cover, as are fire, storm, lightning strike and damage in winter storage. Full hull cover adds collision, grounding and vandalism and pays out on the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
A programme built continuously since 2003 brings together boats of different ages. In the Premium tariff full hull cover applies with no age limit, and cover is granted regardless of year of build, place of purchase and previous owners. The premium follows the type of boat, value, year of build, engine output and cruising range.

Frequent questions
What happens if only the engine is stolen?
Theft of parts including the outboard is part of full hull cover. Compensation is paid on the agreed value and with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
Does limited hull cover include theft of the boat?

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On an inflatable the cause decides, not the damage: a tear from impact is covered, porous fabric after years in the sun is not. The outboard belongs in the policy with its serial number.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
Even without an engine the rule holds: a tear from impact or vandalism is covered, UV ageing is wear.
