Six of the seven recorded model ranges bear the name Stefini, joined by the Escandalosa. Building took place between 1990 and 2005, predominantly sailing yachts, the Escandalosa as a sailing boat. For sailors a different premium factor applies at NAMMERT than for motor boats.
In place of the engine output comes the sail area, joined by type of boat, value, year of build and cruising range. The brand remains without influence on the price. Club races are included from Basis-Plus, races with scoring status you declare when taking out the policy.
Since production ended in 2005, these yachts are used boats today. We insure regardless of year of build, place of purchase and previous owners, and full hull cover indemnifies according to the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). In the Premium tariff this applies with no age limit for the boat.

Frequent questions
Why does the sail area count with sailing boats?
Because it characterises the boat, as the engine output does with motor boats. Together with type of boat, value, year of build and cruising range it produces the premium.
Are races included in the cover?
Club races are included from the Basis-Plus tariff. Races with scoring status you declare when taking out the policy, so that they are expressly agreed.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.

On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
