Twelve model ranges are recorded, from the Deck models 1900 and 2100 to the Mark variants with Bow Rider and Cuddy Cabin, with years of construction between 1981 and 2003. Whatever electronics and equipment are on board belong in the list from which the agreed value is formed.
Only what is recorded there counts towards the agreed compensation in the event of a claim, and that is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). Full hull cover additionally covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. In the Premium tariff it applies with no age limit.
Production ended in 2003, so these are used boats of differing age. We provide cover regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners, in the Premium tariff with no age limit in the full hull cover. When you switch, we cancel the previous policy free of charge.

Frequent questions
How does accessory equipment come into the cover?
Through the list from which the agreed value arises. Electronics and equipment named there belong to the agreed sum and are replaced with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
Does the cover differ for a boat with a cabin?
The scope follows the tariff level, not the design. Type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range determine the premium, and the brand plays no part.

Registration

For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
