Thirty-five ranges are recorded under Sea Pro, among them the models 170, 175, 180 and 190 as Center Console, Dual Console or Fish and Ski. The years of construction run from 1986 to 2005. No new units are being added, so the fleet consists exclusively of used boats.
If a contract is already running for such a boat, switching is straightforward: NAMMERT cancels the earlier contract free of charge. For the new contract the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output and cruising range are enough, and up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online.
In scope it stays with the familiar division: third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros as the basis, limited hull cover for fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the whole boat and damage in winter storage, full hull cover with an agreed value and theft of parts including the outboard.

How do you move from another provider to NAMMERT?
Through the switching service. You give us the details of the boat, we cancel the earlier contract free of charge and set up the new cover, online up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros.
Which details count for a boat from 1986?
Type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output and cruising range. The age does not rule out cover; in full hull cover there is no age limit in the Premium tariff.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.

For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
