Ten model ranges are recorded, among them the Frances 26 built from 1977 to 2002 and the Victoria 38 from 1994 to 2005, all listed as sailing yachts. Electronics and fixed equipment on board belong in the schedule to the contract so that the agreed value carries them.
Compensation in the event of a claim is paid according to this agreed value, with no deduction for depreciation and, in the Premium tariff, without any age limit. Full hull cover also includes collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, while limited hull cover includes damage in winter storage.
The last ranges ended in 2005, and these yachts are traded as used boats. The year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners play no part, and in a dispute after the purchase legal expenses cover for water sports applies. For the premium of a sailing yacht, the sail area counts.

How does retrofitted electronic equipment get into the contract?
It is recorded in the schedule to the contract and thus flows into the agreed value. In the event of a claim, compensation is paid according to this agreed value with no deduction for depreciation.
Can a Victoria 30 from 1982 be insured?
Yes. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. In the Premium tariff full hull cover works without any age limit, and the basis is third-party liability.

Licence
